RANIT LLC dba Roadside Assistance Now in Texas ("RANIT," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

When you request service or interact with us, we may collect:

  • Name
  • Phone number
  • Location (including pickup and service location)
  • Service request details (vehicle, service type, notes)
  • Membership information (plan, billing, account history)

How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to provide and improve our services, including:

  • Roadside assistance dispatch and service delivery
  • Dispatch updates and ETA notifications
  • Membership communications and account management
  • Appointment reminders
  • Customer support
  • Review and feedback requests

SMS Consent & Messaging

RANIT LLC / RANIT Roadside obtains SMS consent only when you affirmatively select the optional SMS consent checkbox on a website service request form, or explicitly agree verbally after the SMS disclosure is presented during a phone call. Website SMS consent checkboxes are unchecked by default. Simply providing your phone number, placing a call, or requesting service does not constitute SMS consent. A no, unclear response, or absence of an affirmative agreement does not authorize customer SMS messages.

With your consent, transactional messages about your roadside assistance request may include service confirmations, technician assignment and dispatch notifications, ETA, en-route and arrival updates, payment links and payment/service updates, customer support, service completion or cancellation messages, and service-related review requests. This consent is not consent to marketing messages.

The customer calling number is 832-280-6473. The intended SMS sending number is 346-656-4694, subject to confirmation in Twilio. The calling number and intended SMS sending number serve different purposes.

We record your SMS consent status with the service request and, when consent is given, its timestamp, source, and disclosure presented.

Mobile information and SMS consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase. You may request and receive service without consenting to SMS. Declining or withdrawing SMS consent does not prevent service or email notifications where applicable.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your service activity.

Your Choices & Opting Out

You can opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. For help, reply HELP. After opting out, you may no longer receive dispatch updates or service notifications via SMS. Where supported by our messaging provider, reply START to resubscribe after opting out. HELP is a support keyword, not consent to receive service texts.

You may also contact us directly to update your preferences, request access to your information, or request deletion of your data.

Data Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to safeguard your personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS), restricted access controls, secure authentication, and storage on reputable cloud infrastructure with industry-standard protections. While no system is 100% secure, we work to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Information Sharing

We share information only as needed to deliver service — for example, with the dispatched service provider assigned to your job, or with payment processors for membership billing. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share SMS consent or mobile data with third parties or affiliates for marketing.
