Mobile Truck Repair Houston TX
Trailer air leak at a Channelview yard, a broken glad hand on the I-10 shoulder, or trailer lights that won't pass a pre-trip? RANIT sends a mobile truck repair unit to your rig instead of putting you in line at a shop.
Mobile truck repair means the roadside-repairable work that keeps a rig legal and moving: air-line and glad-hand replacement, brake chamber labor, trailer light repair, tire service, jump starts and diesel delivery. If a fault can be safely corrected at the shoulder, yard or truck stop, we'd rather fix it there than see you lose a day of revenue waiting on a bay.
This is not a full diagnostic shop. We do not perform engine teardowns, DOT inspections or major driveline work, and RANIT does not operate tow trucks — if your rig genuinely needs to be towed, dispatch will tell you plainly and refer you through our tow referral network.

Have this ready when you call
- Your exact location — cross street, mile marker, garage level, or a shared GPS pin
- Year, make, model and color of the vehicle
- What is happening: won't crank, flat tire, keys locked inside, out of fuel
- Tire size or spare availability for tire calls
- Unit number, trailer status and fault details for commercial vehicles
- A phone number the technician can reach you on
Staying safe while you wait
If you are on a freeway shoulder, get the vehicle as far right as you safely can, turn on your hazards, and stay buckled inside with the doors locked rather than standing in traffic. Texas law asks drivers to move over or slow down for stopped service vehicles, but never assume they will.
If anyone is injured, if a person or pet is locked inside a hot vehicle, or if the vehicle is in an unsafe position in live traffic, call 911 first. Emergency responders come before roadside assistance — tell our dispatcher as well so we can prioritise the call.
What our Houston mobile truck repair units handle
Air-system leaks that dump pressure and lock the brakes: replacement glad hands, gladhand seals, service and emergency line repair, and fittings. Brake chamber replacement labor when you have or can source the chamber. Trailer light repair — pigtails, harness splices, marker and stop-lamp replacement — so a pre-trip stops failing. Commercial tire changes and roadside tire replacement. Heavy-duty jump starts on Class 7 and 8 tractors. Emergency diesel delivered trailer-side, including reefer units.
Every call ends with the tech telling you what was repaired, what is still marginal, and whether the truck should reach a shop before the next load. We would rather give you a straight answer than a surprise second breakdown fifty miles down I-10.
How a commercial roadside call runs
Call (832) 280-6473 and you get a live Houston dispatcher, not a queue. Dispatch confirms the unit number, the exact mile marker or yard address, the fault you can see or hear, and whether the trailer is loaded. That determines which unit and which parts roll out, and dispatch confirms the price before a tech is assigned.
For carriers and fleets running the same corridors weekly, our membership program adds priority dispatch and recurring-account billing so drivers aren't negotiating pricing at 2 a.m.
Houston truck corridors we cover
We answer commercial calls 24/7 across Houston, Channelview, Stafford, Sugar Land, Missouri City, Pearland, Fresno TX, Katy, Richmond and Rosenberg, plus the truck stops, rest areas and industrial yards along I-10, I-45, I-69 (US-59), Beltway 8, Loop 610, SH-288 and the Grand Parkway.
Port-adjacent and east-Houston distribution yards are routine work for our units, as are last-mile depots running box trucks and sprinter vans.
